The second question of Fatwa No. ( 4264 )
Q 2: Whatthe ruling on a father who insults the religiondoes he become a disbeliever without a public declaration? And if this matter is denied to him and he knows that insulting the religion is disbelief, yet he returns to this matter again and again, what is the ruling on this father? Knowing that he displays repentance, then before long, when he gets angry, he says this word, and this happens every period. So what is the ruling on this father, and what is the ruling on the son’s dealing with him? Should he boycott him and leave the house? Even though he is a young man who cannot work, and if he leaves the house, he will leave the university and go to work in any job
far away from this house.

A 2: It is obligatory for you to continue advising him. When it becomes clear to you that advice does not benefit him, you know your circumstances best. If you know that staying in the house is more beneficial, then you stay. If it becomes clear to you that leaving the house is better, then you leave it. Whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him and provide for him from where he does not expect. We remind you of the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
[Luqman 31:14]
Success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
