Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 10156 )
Q: A milk-kinship relationship occurred between two women, except that there is a son and a daughter who were not breastfed, and they have no relationship through breastfeeding from the two wives. Since one of them, namely the one who was not breastfed, wishes to marry the daughter who was not breastfed by his mother, and he was not breastfed by her mother, I hope you will submit my case to His Eminence the President of the General Authority for Islamic Research and Ifta, Da'wah and Guidance, to answer what I have mentioned. May Allah guide you and keep you well.
A: If the matter is as described, it is permissible for the son who was not breastfed by the mother of the woman he proposed to, and who was not breastfed by her mother, to marry her. The breastfeeding of her brothers has no effect on this marriage. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
