Does blood have the ruling of milk in establishing kinship through breastfeeding?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 310 )
Q: The content of the question is that his wife is ill, and that she was in a situation where she was forced to be given a blood transfusion, and that the hospital drew blood from him for his wife. He asks whether this affects his marital life with her?
A: Perhaps the questioner has considered in his mind an analogy between blood and milk that establishes kinship through breastfeeding, but this is an incorrect analogy for two reasons: First, blood is not a nourishment like milk. Second, that by which kinship through breastfeeding is established by virtue of the text is the breastfeeding of milk, subject to two conditions: First, that the breastfeeding reaches five feedings or more. Second, that it occurs within the first two years. Accordingly, this blood drawn from you for your wife has no effect on your marital life with her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
