The Reality of the Science of Reality
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 11056 )
Q4: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) receive three sciences: the first being the command to convey it to the general public, which is the Shari'ah science; the second being one in which he was given a choice and taught it to 'Ali ibn Abi Talib , which is the science of reality; and the third being for himself, which Allah commanded him to keep secret? Is there any evidence for these claims? May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A4: Dividing what was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) into the three categories mentioned is not among the divisions of revelation. As for what some people claim to be the science of reality, that he was given a choice regarding it, and that he taught it to 'Ali ibn Abi Talib , this has not been established by any evidence from the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him); rather, it is false. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
