Seeing Allah in this world
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 12713 )
Q 1: What is the ruling in Islamic law regarding a man who says with his tongue that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while awake, and Mary the Virgin nursing her son 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) also while awake, and that he saw the souls of the believers above the graves? He also said that he saw Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He).
A 1: Claiming to have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) after his death while awake is a false claim, as is his claim to have seen Mary nursing her son, and to have seen the souls of the believers above the graves, and to have seen the Self of Allah the Exalted. All of this is among false claims. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
