The second question of Fatwa No. ( 1385 )
Q2: I committed major sins while I was ignorant, and I swore by Allah but did not pay the expiation for my oath. Now Allah has guided me, and I want to pay a large amount as expiation for what I mentioned. Please advise us.
A2: You must repent to Allah for the sins you have committed, and you should increase in seeking forgiveness and righteous deeds, especially performing the five daily prayers at their times in congregation in the mosques. You must return injustices to their owners as much as possible, and seek the forgiveness of those to whom you were unable to return their rights, hoping that Allah will replace your bad deeds with good ones. Allah the Exalted said:
(68) And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - (70) Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. (71) And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance.
[Al-Furqan 25:68-71]

And He said:
And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.
[Hud 11:114]
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Have Taqwa of Allah wherever you are, and follow an evil deed with a good one to wipe it out, and treat the people with good behavior.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1987Hasan (Darussalam)
You must also pay the expiation for your oath by Allah, by feeding ten poor people, five sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of wheat, dates, rice, or something similar from the middle quality of what you feed your family, with each poor person receiving half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg), unless the oaths are numerous regarding different actions, in which case it is obligatory to pay the aforementioned expiation for each one, and the basis for this is the preponderance of opinion. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
