The vastness of the mercy of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and that if a person repents, Allah accepts his repentance.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And in His saying (Mighty and Majestic):
and then have not repented ثم لم يتوبوا
[Al-Buruj 85:10]
is proof that if a person repents, Allah accepts his repentance from whatever sin it may be. Listen to the roots of the great sins in Surat al-Furqan, where Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity والذين لا يدعون مع الله إلها آخر
[Al-Furqan 25:68]
This is the negation of shirk (associating partners with Allah).
or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right ولا يقتلون النفس التني حرم الله إلا بالحق
[Al-Furqan 25:68]
This is the negation of aggression against souls.
And they do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse ولا يزنون
This is the negation of aggression against honor.
And whoever does that ومن يفعل ذلك
And what does it mean to do that? It means to invoke with Allah another deity, or to kill the soul that Allah has forbidden except by right, or to commit zina (unlawful sexual intercourse).
will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - يلق أثاما يضاعف له العذاب يوم القيامة ويخلد فيه مهانا
[Al-Furqan 25:68-69]
Right? Except
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. إلا من تاب وآمن وعمل عملا صالحا فأولئك يبدل الله سيئاتهم حسنات وكان الله غفورا رحيما
[Al-Furqan 25:70]
