Q7: Is it permissible to swear by the Qur'an, and is it permissible to swear by other than Allah?
A7: It is permissible to swear by the Qur'an; because it is the speech of Allah, and His speech is an attribute of
His, the Exalted. As for swearing by other than Allah, it is not permissible; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Abi Dawud 3251Sahih (Al-Albani) . And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
