Does reliance on Allah suffice in place of supplication?

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 20023 )
Q 2:Does reliance on Allah negate supplication? The meaning is: Can a servant rely on Allah without making supplication? Because I have heard and read this Holy Hadith:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2926Da'if (Darussalam)? What does the word (My remembrance) mean? Does it mean: the Noble Qur'an? And what does it mean: My asking? As for the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3373Da’if (Darussalam)This is in the meaning of the hadith, so do we combine supplication with reliance on Allah? The matters have become confused for me between the Holy Hadith and the Prophetic Hadith mentioned above, so which is better: that we ask Allah or that we occupy ourselves with remembrance without asking?
A 2: First: This hadith was narrated by al-Tirmidhi in his (Jami'), through the route of Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Abi Yazid al-Hamdani , from Amr ibn Qays , from Atiyyah , from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 2136 This hadith is weak, for in its chain are Atiyyah al-Aufi , and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Abi Yazid , and both are weak. Imam Abu Hatim al-Razi said: (This is a denounced narration) and al-Hafiz al-Dhahabi said: (He graded it good by al-Tirmidhi but it is not good), and the hadith was also narrated by al-Darimi in his (Sunan), al-Tabarani in the book (al-Du'a) and al-Bayhaqi in (al-Asma' wa al-Sifat), and it was mentioned by Ibn al-Jawzi in (al-Mawdu'at). And Allah knows best. Second: Many texts have come in the Book and the Sunnah that encourage supplication and urge it, indeed making it the worship. Allah the Exalted said:
[Al-Baqarah 2:186] And He the Exalted said: [Ghafir 40:60] and many other verses. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: , narrated by the compilers of the Sunan with a sound chain. And supplication does not contradict reliance on Allah, rather it is taking the prescribed means. And whoever thinks that part of reliance is leaving off supplication has erred regarding the Shari'ah. And likewise, whoever thinks that reliance on Allah suffices in place of doing the means, such as buying and selling, farming, and the like, has erred. Rather, what is prescribed for every Muslim man and woman is combining reliance with doing the prescribed and permissible means. And Allah is the One sought for help. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
Q 2:Does reliance on Allah negate supplication? The meaning is: Can a servant rely on Allah without making supplication? Because I have heard and read this Holy Hadith:
Whoever is too busy with the Qur'an for remembering Me and asking Me, then I shall give him more than what I give to those who ask.
Indeed, he who does not ask Allah, he gets angry with him.
A 2: First: This hadith was narrated by al-Tirmidhi in his (Jami'), through the route of Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Abi Yazid al-Hamdani , from Amr ibn Qays , from Atiyyah , from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“God who is blessed and exalted says, ‘To him who is so occupied with the Qur’ān as to neglect making mention of me and making request of me I will give the most excellent things I give to those who ask.’ The superiority of God’s words over all other words is like God’s superiority over His creatures.”
And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.
Supplication is worship
