Bringing in workers and leaving them to work contrary to what the state has decided
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 13881 )
Q2: I have a number of Afghan workers, and I do not have any work for them at present, which has led them to work in the country and stay with me without wages. Whatever money they earn, whether much or little, is theirs. However, when renewing their residence for two years, they pay me a sum of three thousand riyals for the renewal and for visiting the relevant authorities on their behalf. I asked them to travel to their country, but they said: Do not cut off our livelihood. Is there anything required of me in this? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A2: It is not permissible to bring in workers and leave them to work contrary to what the state has decided, and it is not permissible for the guarantor to take any money from them in exchange for his guarantee. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
