The tie of kinship with the daughter of a paternal uncle or maternal uncle
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question from Fatwa number ( 17641 )
Q4: How should a man visit his paternal or maternal cousin, especially if she is married , to maintain the ties of kinship between them? Or is it not permissible to visit her because she is a woman? May Allah reward you for Islam and the Muslims with good, and make your work pure for His great Face.
A : It is recommended that you maintain the ties of kinship with your paternal cousin and all your relatives to the extent of your ability; because kin have a right that is obligatory, and severing ties with them is forbidden. Allah the Exalted said: But this is without seclusion with her, if she is not one of the mahram relatives, and without any action that would lead to suspicion of what contradicts the pure Shari'ah, and with her adhering to the Shari'ah-prescribed hijab. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
