Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 7975 )
Q 1: What is the ruling on slaughters that are slaughtered with an automatic knife, where a worker stands over it repeating the invocation?
A 1: If this worker is a Muslim, a Jew, or a Christian, and he is the one who operated the slaughter device with the intention of slaughtering these animals, and he took care to say the invocation when
the automatic knife passed over the animals, cutting what was prescribed to be cut of the windpipe, the esophagus, and the two carotid arteries, then it is permissible to eat what was slaughtered in this manner. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
