The second question of fatwa number ( 4300 )
Q 2: I am a young man with a wife, a daughter, a father, and a mother, and I intend to go to Afghanistan for jihad, but my mother refused
that, on the grounds that I am her only son, and she has a married daughter. Should I obey her, or should I go and leave her?
A 2:Sahih al-Bukhari 3004 . So serving your mother and obeying her takes precedence over your journey to Afghanistan for jihad. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
