Leading the prayer behind one who eats from sacrifices at shrines

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 4494 )
Q1: Our imam eats food (meat) from the sacrifice at every shrine, and these are held annually at the shrines of some of the righteous, and are called among us: (al-Wa'dah). Is it permissible to eat from this sacrifice that was slaughtered at the shrine of this righteous person? And if it is not permissible to eat from it, is it permissible to pray behind one who ate from it or not?
A1: It is not permissible to eat from the sacrifices slaughtered at the shrines of the righteous, and the imam who eats from them should be advised by explaining that it is not permissible to eat from them. If he
eats after the explanation, do not pray behind him; because slaughtering is an act of worship, and it is not permissible except for Allah alone, and it is not permissible to draw near to the righteous or any other created beings through sacrifices; due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
(162) Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. (163) No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims."
[Al-An'am 6:162-163]
and the ritual sacrifice is: slaughtering, and His saying:
(1) Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar. (2) So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ (1) فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
[Al-Kawthar 108:1-2]
and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Allah cursed him who sacrificed for anyone besides Allahلعن الله من ذبح لغير الله
Sahih Muslim 1978b
narrated by Muslim in his (Sahih) from the hadith of Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
