Q: I am a woman suffering from a cancerous tumor in the uterus, and the doctors have decided on removal of the uterus, and today I am inquiring whether this is forbidden or permissible, so please inform me, and may Allah reward you with good?
A : There is nothing wrong with removing the uterus if it does not pose a danger to the woman's life, and the doctors have determined that it must be removed; because this is permissible treatment. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
