Opening a commercial clinic

Fatwa number ( 20397 )
Q: I applied to the Directorate of Health Affairs in 'Asir for a license to open a private medical clinic in Mahayil 'Asir . I did this after seeking and confirming the success of this project, especially since I will provide sincere medical services, which the private medical sector lacks. I will try with all my effort to be sincere in my work and devoted to my Lord. Now, after the preliminary license was issued, one of my relatives told me: "The establishment of the clinic is not encouraged from a Sharia perspective, and even if the only issue were the mixing of women and men, such as nurses with patients, that alone would be sufficient [to disqualify it]." Therefore, I respectfully ask your Eminence to issue a fatwa: Is the income from the clinic permissible from a Sharia perspective or not? And
what is Your Eminence's opinion on this, and what is your guidance in this matter? I am aware that I see it will be a service to the people of the region, although I will not open the clinic unless I am informed that there is no harm in it from a Sharia perspective; therefore, I respectfully ask for the information.
A: It is permissible to open the clinic; this is by establishing a private clinic for women attended by women, and a private clinic for men attended by male doctors, on the condition that there is no mixing between men and women, and thereby the concern is removed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
