After this period, that is, eight years, they contacted a doctor, and he told them that the pregnancy was false. She has been in her waiting period for six months. Will she be released from the waiting period, and if the doctor prescribes a procedure, is it permissible for her to consent to a cleaning or the like?
A: If the matter is as described, then the woman mentioned is released from the waiting period upon the completion of four months and ten days from her husband’s death. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
