Marrying the Poor Man

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 7829 )
Q: Indeed,a young man proposed to my sister. We consider him to be of great goodness and good character, but he does not have the basic requirements to establish a Muslim household, knowing that: 1 - the family did not ask him for anything at all, like the things that have become widespread these days, but they only asked him to provide food, clothing, and shelter for the sister.
without specifying the form of the shelter, clothing, or food. 2 - The brother has no disability that prevents him from working and continuing in it. 3 - This brother is 21 years old. The question now is: Is it permissible to refuse this brother? Please note that he is a memorizer of the Qur'an and is of good religion and character, but he does not have the ability to bear the responsibility of a wife and a house, and if Allah wills and blesses him with children. I ask for the answer as soon as possible so that I do not fall into the saying:
When someone whose religion and character you are pleased with comes to you then marry (her to) himإذا جاءكم من ترضون دينه وخلقه فزوجوه
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1085Da'if (Darussalam)
to the end of the hadith, and so that this brother does not cause problems or embarrassment with the father after the marriage; because the father has left the matter of marrying my sisters to me.

A: If the matter is as described, then having little means does not prevent marrying the aforementioned person if the proposed woman is pleased with him, and Allah will enrich him from His bounty. Allah the Exalted said:
And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
[An-Nur 24:32]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
