Q: A man married a woman, and after consummating the marriage, he divorced her. After she has completed the waiting period required by the Shari'ah, is it permissible for the divorced man's brother to marry her?
A: It is permissible for a man's brother to marry his brother's ex-wife after her waiting period has ended. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
