The brother of one's brother's wife
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7801 )
Q2: I have a brother to my brother's wife who is about 16 years old. He is my maternal uncle's son and is currently staying with me because he is studying, and I always help him with his studies. I have checked on him, and I have not found anything except this year. I cover my hair and my entire body, and I do not wear revealing clothes in front of him, but my face is always uncovered. Is this forbidden for me? Please explain this situation to me, and how should I act if this is not in my control, but rather my family who took him in, and I must help him with his school assignments?
A2: It is not permissible for you to uncover your face before the person mentioned, nor to be alone with him, because he is a non-mahram to you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
