The father's maternal uncle is a mahram to his daughters

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 10948 )
Q1: Is it permissible for a maternal uncle, whether on the father's or mother's side, to greet my daughters and shake their hands without a hijab? When my father's maternal uncle visits us, is it permissible for him to greet my sisters?
A1: It is permissible for the daughters of a sister's son to greet their father's maternal uncle without a hijab, because he is one of their mahrams. The same applies to the maternal uncle on the mother's side. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
