Fatwa number ( 10726 )
Q: What is the ruling on a wife who withholds her rights from her husband — meaning, if the husband wants to have intercourse with his wife, but the wife is not inclined to it and prevents her husband from doing so, while she is healthy and has no excuse? And what is the ruling on the one who acts badly and disrupts the relationship between the husband and the wife, and he is one of the close relatives
of the wife?
A: First: It is obligatory for the wife to respond when her husband calls her to his bed, and it is forbidden for her to refuse except for a legitimate religious excuse. It is established in the two Sahihs and others from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 1436d In another narration: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Mishkat al-Masabih 3246 In another narration: Sahih Muslim 1436a . Second: It is forbidden to sow discord between a woman and her husband and to turn her against him, whether the one doing so is a relative or not. Al-Nasa'i , Abu Dawud , and Ibn Hibban narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Abi Dawud 2175Sahih (Al-Albani) The wording is from Abu Dawud. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

When a man invites his wife to his bed and she does not come, and he (the husband) spends the sight being angry with her, the angels curse her until morning.
إذا دعا الرجل امرأته إلى فراشه فلم تأته فبات غضبان عليها، لعنتها الملائكة حتى تصبحBy Him in whose hand my soul is, if any woman who has been called to come to her husband’s bed refuses, He who is in heaven is displeased with her till her t husband is pleased with her.
والذي نفسي بيده ما من رجل يدعو امرأته إلى فراشه فتأبى عليه إلا كان الذي في السماء ساخطا عليها حتى يرضى عنهاWhen a woman spends the night away from the bed of her husband, the angels curse her until morning.
إذا باتت المرأة هاجرة فراش زوجها لعنتها الملائكة حتى تصبحAnyone who incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us.
ليس منا من خبب امرأة على زوجها أو عبدا على سيده
