Visiting the parents once a week is sufficient

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 9837 )
Q: I am a woman who wears the Shari'ah hijab and covers my face—praise be to Allah. My husband is a religious man; I find no fault in his character or his religion. Rather, he tries to prevent me from visiting my family. Knowing that I do not wish to go out of the house frequently, is it contrary to Islam if he allows me to visit my parents one day a week, for example? Is the command to maintain family ties specific to men and not women? Does a woman have no rights over her husband other than food, drink, and shelter? And does she have no other moral rights? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you, may Allah have mercy on you.
A: Islam has established for each of the spouses rights that they must fulfill for the other, and upon each of them are obligations that they must perform. Among the rights
between them is good conduct. There is no blame on a woman for visiting her parents once a week or once every two weeks, for example; because maintaining family ties is obligatory for all accountable persons, both men and women. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
