The period a wife must endure the absence of her husband

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q6: What is the period a wife must endure the absence of her husband (with regard to sexual intercourse )?
A6: The period a woman can generally endure the absence of her husband is four months, which is the period prescribed by the Shari'ah for the one who takes an oath of abstinence (ila'), meaning the husband who swears not to have intercourse with his wife. This period is the most appropriate standard for estimating the time
a woman endures the absence of her husband with regard to the sexual aspect. Allah the Exalted said:
For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, but if they return [to normal relations] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
[Al-Baqarah 2:226]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
