Q1: Is it permissible for a man to ask a woman he wishes to marry, and what are the conditions for such an inquiry?
A1: It is permissible for him to do so without seclusion with her, if he has a desire to marry her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
