Meeting the fiancée’s mother while she is uncovering her face

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 14523 )
Q: Is it permissible to meet the fiancée’s mother while she is uncovering her face before the marriage contract is concluded—that is, the fiancée’s mother? Is it permissible for my father to see the fiancée uncovering her face before the marriage contract is concluded?
A: First: It is not permissible for the mother of the woman being proposed to uncover her face to the suitor of her daughter; because before the contract is concluded with her daughter, she is considered a non-mahram to the suitor.
Second: It is not permissible for the woman being proposed to uncover her face to the father of her suitor; because before the marriage contract, he is not among the mahrams of the woman being proposed to. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
