A man kissing his mahrams

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 894 )
Q2: Among our pre-Islamic customs, when a man returns from being away from his family and arrives at their place after his absence, he greets them with a kiss on the mouth, both men and women. What is the ruling if he greets his mother and sisters with a kiss on the mouth? Since
I have heard that it is not permissible, is it disliked, forbidden, or permissible?

A2: A man kissing his mother out of compassion, mercy, tenderness, and love for kinship is a form of dutifulness and kindness. Allah has commanded dutifulness to parents, and He the Exalted said:
(23) And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. (24) And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."
[Al-Isra 17:23-24]
. A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) by saying:
Your mother,' he replied. He was asked, 'Then whom?' 'Your mother,' he replied. He was asked, 'Then whom?' 'Your mother,' he replied. He was asked, 'Then whom?' He replied, 'Your father.'
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 5
. As for kissing your sisters on the mouth, it should not be done if they are in a state where he does not feel safe from the possibility that the kiss on the mouth is for desire, and this falls under the category of blocking the means to harm. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
