Ruling on a woman kissing her mahrams on the mouth

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
He has another question. 'Abd al-Habash says: Kissing the father, brother, and son on the mouth on special occasions, is it permissible for a young woman or an older woman to do this, and what is recommended to do in such occasions?
Answer: I do not know of any transmission from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding this. Rather, many scholars recommend that the kiss be on other than the mouth; he kisses his daughter on her cheek, and his sister likewise, or on her nose, or on her head if she is older. And she likewise kisses her father on his head, his nose, and the like.
As for kissing on the mouth, it is better that it be reserved for the husband alone; because this may incite fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). So it is better that the kiss on the mouth be for the husband, and the master who is permitted to have intercourse with his slave woman and kisses her on her mouth is like the husband. As for kissing relatives like her maternal uncle, paternal uncle, father, and brother, it is better to kiss them on the head or nose than on the mouth. And he kisses his daughter and sister and the like on the cheek. And if she is older, like her mother or grandmother, he kisses her on the forehead or nose, out of respect and honor for her. Yes, this is what is better. Yes.
