Q2: Is there any harm in 30 or 50 people gathering to perform the marriage contract?
A2: There is no harm in the gathering of the number mentioned, or fewer, or more, because of the publicizing of the marriage that is commanded by the Shari'ah, as it was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: And the obligatory part of that is the presence of two just men along with the guardian and the groom to witness the execution of the marriage contract. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
