The fourth question of the fatwa numbered ( 4246 )
Q4: Whatis the ruling on girls who have not reached puberty, and is it permissible for them to go out without a covering, and is it permissible for them to pray without a head covering?
A4: It is obligatory for their guardians to discipline them with the manners of Islam, by ordering them not to go out except while covering their awrah (parts of the body that must be covered), out of fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), and to teach them noble morals, so that they do not become a cause for the spread of corruption. They should also order them to pray with a head covering. If she prays without it, her prayer is valid, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Ibn Majah 655Sahih (Darussalam) narrated by al-Tirmidhi .
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
