Advising the sisters who display their adornment

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa number ( 3933 )
Q2: I have a sister who displays her adornment, and she lives with me in the house in Alexandria , and the father lives in another town, and she is with me for the purpose of studying at the university, and I have established the right over the father so that he would dress her in the outer garment and keep her in the house, since she is studying in the Faculty of
Arts, Sociology, and I have called upon this sister of mine many times, but she did not respond to me. Now, I and she are in our house in Alexandria and the father is not with us. Should I force her by force to adhere to the outer garment that Allah the Exalted has prescribed, or should I return her by force to our town where the father and mother are, or should I leave the house and live in another country? Knowing that this may lead to many harms; because she has no mahram other than me, and I tried to force her, but the father opposed that by saying: That Allah Mighty and Majestic is the One who guides whom He wills, and that guidance is with Him Blessed and Exalted is He. Rule for me, may Allah have mercy on you, in this matter, for I have boycotted her before and did not speak to her and did not eat with her in one vessel, and she did not respond.

A2: What we advise you to do is: to continue in advising her, and warning her of the consequence of displaying her adornment and its dire outcome, and to strive to marry her off after your father’s consent to delegating that to you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
