Marriage to a woman who does not wear the hijab
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 4245 )
Q2: Whatis the ruling in Islam regarding a man who married a woman who does not wear Islamic clothing, and does he bear any of the evil for her being a woman who displays her adornment? And despite the fact that he advised her and ordered her to do so, is it permissible for him to divorce her because she does not wear this clothing? Even though she acknowledges it and says: It is obligatory.
A2: The husband must continue to advise her and guide her well, perhaps Allah will guide her and grant her success. If he has done his utmost in advising her, then there is no sin upon him. If she persists in remaining in what is wrong, it is obligatory for him to divorce her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
