The first question of Fatwa number ( 3246 )
Q1: Is the term (al-dayyuth) applied to one who leaves his daughters without Islamic clothing? We have heard from one of the brothers that al-dayyuth is not only the one who sees his wife or his sister or his wife committing zina. This brother interpreted the hadith in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the evil, which is: al-dayyuth who sees the evil in his household and remains silent, by displaying the good points, and not by one who sees zina in his household. So who is al-dayyuth? Is it the one who sees zina in his household? And what is the evil mentioned in the noble Prophetic hadith?
A1: Narrated Ahmad from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 3655 , said al-Haythami in (Majma' al-Zawa'id): It contains a narrator who was not named, and the rest of its men are trustworthy. And narrated al-Tabarani from 'Ammar ibn Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him), , said al-Haythami in (Majma' al-Zawa'id): (It contains obscure points, and there is no one among them who has been said to be weak). And narrated al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani from Malik ibn Ahimr (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: , said al-Haythami in it Abu Razin al-Bahili , and I did not know him, and the rest of its men are trustworthy. And based on this, whoever looks at what came in the first narration applies the word (al-dayyuth) to everyone who approves of lewdness in anyone over whom he has authority; from his wife, his daughter, his sister, and the like, whether the lewdness is zina or means to zina, such as exposing the 'awrah in front of a non-mahram and seclusion with him, and applying perfume when
going out and the like of what incites fitnah and encourages fornication, and he sees that the specific hadiths coming in this matter are included in the generality of the first hadith, but these hadiths contain defects as mentioned above, knowing that a person's silence regarding evil is forbidden, whether it is in his household or in others, but his silence regarding its refutation in those over whom Allah has placed him as authority is more evil and a greater sin; because he is their specific authority, whether that silence is called dayyuth or not, it is evil in any case; due to the general verses and hadiths indicating that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

There are three to whom God has forbidden paradise: one who is addicted to wine, an undutiful son, and a cuckold who agrees to his women-folk’s adultery.
ثلاثة قد حرم الله تبارك وتعالى عليهم الجنة: مدمن الخمر، والعاق، والديوث الذي يقر في أهله الخبثThat the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Three will not enter Paradise ever: al-dayyuth, the manly woman, and the habitual drinker of intoxicants. They said: O Messenger of Allah, we have known the habitual drinker of intoxicants, so what is al-dayyuth? He said: The one who does not care who enters his household. We said: So what is the manly woman? He said: The one who imitates men
Allah does not accept from al-Suqur on the Day of Resurrection any turning away or any straightening. We said: O Messenger of Allah, what are al-Suqur? He said: The one who lets men enter his household
