The Reality of the Diwth

The fifth and final question in the letter from the brother (H. A. S.) from Jordan asks: Is the diwth the one who talks about what happens between him and his wife in private, or who is the diwth in the correct sense according to the pure Islamic religion? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer: The diwth is the one who is pleased with fornication in his household; he is pleased that his wife is violated, he is pleased that his wife goes to commit fornication. This is the diwth who is pleased that his wife is violated and that she commits fornication, due to his lack of jealousy, the corruption of his jealousy, and the weakness of his faith or the absence of his faith. This is called a diwth.
As for the one who talks about his state with his wife, he is a fool, and he may be an open sinner for that, but he is not a diwth. The diwth is the one who is pleased with fornication in his household. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.
