Beating the Hand Drums

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The seventh question of the fatwa number ( 5782 )
Q7: What is the manner of the wedding feast? And is it permissible to beat the hand drums at it while mentioning Allah and praising the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?
Vol. 7: The wedding feast is prescribed, and it is to be with a sacrificial animal or more for those who are able to do so, according to their circumstances. If that is not feasible, whatever food is available is sufficient for him.
As for beating the hand drums and singing at the wedding feast, as mentioned in the question, that is not permissible; out of respect for Allah and His Messenger. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
