If a woman is mentally ill, should the man be informed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19318 )
Q2: I have two sisters. One of them was mentally ill, but now she is well, praise be to Allah, although she cannot stop taking her medication or neglect it; to put it more clearly, she lives on it until Allah wills. The second is suffering from rheumatism, so she is treated with injections every month, as the doctors advised to stop the progression of the disease in her body, and she takes them until the age of 35. If someone proposes to marry them, is it necessary for him to know about this illness or that one? And if we do not tell him, is it a sin on our part, and is it considered deception that would invalidate the contract? Please inform us; may Allah reward you.
A2: It is obligatory to inform the suitor of any illness or defect in the prospective bride if he does not know about it, so that he is fully aware of his situation; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever cheats us is not one of us.من غشنا فليس منا
Sunan Ibn Majah 2225Da'if (Darussalam)
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
