A man touching the hand of a woman who is not lawful for him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 17053 )
Q: A committed merchant, who has many customers, including women, so when
giving and receiving, he may touch one of their hands, and this often happens, so does he have to renew his wudu',
and what should he do?

A: It is not permissible for a man to touch the hand of a woman who is not lawful for him; because of the fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) involved in that, so you must avoid this matter and repent to Allah from it. You can buy and sell with women through speech, and you must fear Allah and avoid what causes fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
