Q: Ifmy father was killed due to the treachery of his wife, who conspired with others to kill him, and they killed him,and the Shari'ah ruling of execution was carried out against them, so my father's wife and those with her were killed. The question I would like to ask Your Eminence is: Does this criminal wife of my father have a right to inherit from my father or not? Knowing that she has sons and daughters from my father.
A: If the matter is as stated, then your father's wife, who conspired with others to kill him, does not inherit from him. As for her sons and daughters from your father, they do inherit from him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
