Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet,
After this: The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has reviewed what was sent to His Eminence the General President from the Head of the Courts of the Eastern Region, and referred to the Committee by the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars, with number (3400) and date 9 \ 8 \ 1411 AH. The questioner requested permission to transfer the mosque land located in the town of Rahimah to another nearby piece of land . The request was referred to the Honorable Head of the Courts of the Eastern Region by letter number (3305\2) and date 5 \ 12 \ 1411 AH, for information regarding the justifications, and the response came by his letter number (550) and date 19 \ 12 \ 1411 AH, attached with a report from the committee formed to examine the aforementioned land, which states: (Praise be to Allah alone, and after this: Based on the letter of the Honorable Head of the Courts of the Eastern Region number (5681) and date 12 \ 5 \ 1411 AH, which was based on the letter of the General President of the Departments of Scientific Research, Ifta, Da'wah, and Guidance number (3305\2) and date 5 \ 12 \ 1411 AH, regarding the modification of the location of the mosque situated in the city of Rahimah, and that the matter was presented to the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta, and the documents were studied and it was decided to form a committee consisting of the judge of
Rahimah and the Notary Public, the Mayor, and the General Manager of Endowments and Mosques to examine the old and new locations... etc. On this day, Sunday, corresponding to 17 \ 1 \ 1412 AH, a meeting was held at the building of the Ras Tanura Court with all parties: the court judge Muhammad ibn 'Umar 'Uta'in, the Honorable Notary Public of Ras Tanura 'Abd al-Rahman al-Baz'i, the Mayor of Ras Tanura Ahmad 'Abd al-Rahman al-Thumayri, and the General Manager of Endowments and Mosques Saif Ibrahim al-Saif. They proceeded to the existing mosque and inspected it on the ground. After the inspection, the attendees decided that there is nothing preventing the exchange between the two locations, noting that the land of the existing mosque is larger in area than the land of the old mosque, and that the benefit for the residents lies in the presence of the current existing mosque. Accordingly, the signatures were obtained).
After the Committee's study of the inquiry, it issued its ruling approving the committee's report on the exchange between the two locations; based on the availability of the justifications for it.
