Q: Is it permissible for a fasting person to enjoy the water after the midday prayer, while fasting in the blessed month of Ramadan, such as wetting the hair and floating in pools? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A: Yes, it is permissible for the fasting person, and it has no effect on his fast, provided he takes care to prevent water from entering his stomach; for it is established that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take a bath while fasting.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
