Fasting of the Pregnant Woman in Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 1144 )
Q1: I was pregnant in the month of Ramadan, so I broke my fast and fasted a full month in its place and gave charity. Then I became pregnant again in the month of Ramadan, so I broke my fast and fasted in its place, one day after another, for two months, and I did not give charity. Is there anything in this that obligates me to give charity?
A1: If the pregnant woman fears for herself or her fetus from fasting, she breaks her fast, and she owes only making up the fasts, just as the case is with the sick person who is unable to fast, or for whom fasting is feared to be harmful to himself. Allah the Exalted said:
and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other daysوَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
