Bleeding in Ramadan for a Pregnant Woman

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 13168 )
Q: In the noble month of Ramadan, I was pregnant and I experienced bleeding on the 20th of Ramadan, and I did not eat or drink, so I was fasting. I broke my fast for four days while I was in the hospital, and after Ramadan I made up the days I had broken. Do I have to fast them again, and the child is still in my womb? Please advise us, may Allah reward you.
A: Your fasting while pregnant and experiencing bleeding does not affect the validity of the fast, just as irregular non-menstrual bleeding does not affect it, and the fast is valid. The four days you broke your fast in the hospital and then made up after Ramadan are sufficient for you, and you are not required to fast them a second time. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
