Q2: What is the ruling on one who gathers with his wife during the day in Ramadan by means of travel, given that they are breaking their fast and shortening the prayer, but they are in Ramadan?
A2: It is permissible to break the fast while traveling for a traveler during the day in Ramadan, and he must make it up, as Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:185] It is permissible for him to eat, drink, and have intercourse as long as he is traveling. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
