One who has intercourse with his wife during the day in Ramadan

Question:
Last year and the year before that, I had intercourse with my wife during the day in Ramadan for more than two days. What is the expiation required of me, given that I am unable to fast?

Answer:
You must repent to Allah; that is the first thing. Second, you must make up the days on which you had intercourse. Third, you must perform the severe expiation, which is freeing a slave. If you cannot do that, you must fast for two consecutive months. If you cannot do that, you must feed sixty poor people.
