What is obtained in the name of the company is a right belonging to it, and it is not permissible to take it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 8373 )
Q: A man collects money for the Limited Joint Stock Electricity Company, and the amount he is required to collect is, for example, five dinars and one hundred and fifty-one fils, so he is forced to take five dinars and one hundred and fifty-five
fils; because there is no single fil available, and the Electricity Company accounts for him with precision. The question: What must he do with the excess money, should he take it for himself, or give it to the Electricity Company?

A: If the situation is as described, he must pay the excess amount to the company; because collecting it and paying the consumer is on behalf of the company. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
