What is the ruling on wishing for death for one who has faced problems in his worldly affairs and sees death as the only solution to escape from these problems?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I have faced several problems in my life that have made me hate life, so whenever I become distressed, I turn to Allah the Exalted asking Him to take my life as soon as possible, and this is my wish to this day, because I have not seen a solution to my problems other than death, which alone will save me from this torment. Is this forbidden for me? Guide us, may Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : If a person wishes for death due to a hardship that has befallen him, he has fallen into what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, where he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
None of you should make a request for death because of the trouble in which he is involved, but if there is no other help to it, then say: O Allah, keep me alive as long as there is goodness in life for me and bring death to me when there is goodness in death for me.
Sahih Muslim 2680a
Therefore, it is not permissible for anyone who is afflicted with a hardship, distress, or problem to wish for death. Rather, he must be patient, seek reward from Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and wait for relief from Him, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
And know that victory is with patience, and that relief is with distress, and that with hardship there is ease.
.
Let the one afflicted by any calamity know that these calamities are an expiation for the sins he has committed, for no sorrow, grief, or harm befalls a believing person except that Allah expiates his sins thereby, even a thorn he is pricked by. With patience and seeking reward, one attains the rank of the patient, that high rank about which Allah the Exalted said regarding its people:
but give good tidings to the patient, (156) Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."
[Al-Baqarah 2:155-156]
. And the fact that this woman sees no solution to her problems other than death, I consider that to be a mistaken view, for problems are not resolved by death; rather, calamities may increase with it. How many people have died while afflicted with problems and harms, but they were extravagant toward themselves, not seeking forgiveness for their sins and not repenting to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), so their death was hastening their punishment. Had they remained in life and Allah the Exalted guided them to repentance, seeking forgiveness, patience, bearing hardships, and waiting for relief, there would have been much good for them. So you, O questioner, must be patient, seek reward, and wait for relief from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) says in His Book:
(5) For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. (6) Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
[Ash-Sharh 94:5-6]
, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in what is authentic from him:
And know that victory is with patience, and that relief is with distress, and that with hardship there is ease.
, and Allah is the One to be sought for help.
