The fourth question of Fatwa number ( 7912 )
Q4: Is it permissible to fast on Mondays and Thursdays in Rajab and Sha'ban after the 15th of Sha'ban?
A4: Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays is not specific to Rajab or Sha'ban; rather, it is recommended in all months of the year. There is no harm for one who has the habit of fasting them throughout the year to fast them in the last part of Sha'ban, even if one of them coincides with the day of doubt. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 1082a Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
