Taking money for trade and spending it on oneself
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 12530 )
Q2: A woman gave me a sum of money and said: keep some of it with you, and put the rest into a trade with one of them. I did not find anyone to trade with this amount, and I am unable to do so due to my work circumstances. Then I needed the full amount, so I spent it without her knowledge. I do not know how to proceed now. Please advise me. May Allah reward you with good.
A2: It is obligatory for you to return the full amount to the one who gave it to you, and tell her what you did, and ask her to forgive you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
