Q1: A military rank named: (Raqib), and this is one of the Beautiful Names, and al-Raqib is: Allah the Exalted, and it is known that likening Him to creation and interpreting His attributes figuratively is not permissible.
A: There is nothing wrong with a person being named Raqib, and this does not necessitate likening Allah to creation; because the meaning that belongs to Allah the Exalted is fitting for Him, and the meaning that belongs to the created being is fitting for it, Allah the Exalted said:[Ash-Shuraa 42:11] . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
