If a grant is made in the name of a man and his children, it is specific to the males, excluding the females

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 8671 )
Q: I was granted a plot of land, like my fellow residents of al-Ghat , in my name and my sons' names, and the text of the gift states: (to him and his sons). I seek your ruling: do the daughters include in the gift or not? Please inform me, may Allah reward you with good, to clear my conscience.
A: If the text of the gift is as mentioned, it is specific to you and the sons, excluding the daughters. The daughters are only entitled to their share of what you own from the gift and other assets after your death. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
